TalkSocket uses a complex software algorithm to discern the word “Alexa” from all other speech and ambient noises. In some cases, a combination of the physical shape, placement and design of TalkSocket’s microphones combined with the wake-word algorithm interprets other noises as “Alexa”. TalkGo has plans to improve the speech recognition capabilities of TalkSocket in a future update.

If you want to take a break from using Alexa, press the side button to mute the microphones or hold the button for 3 seconds to power off TalkSocket.
